Very satisfied

A narrow pool of light falls on your page and little else, so you can read on while the other side of the bed stays dark. When you are finished, there is no need to get up: the lamp turns off from where you are lying. It does the job of a bedside lamp without the base, flex or shade taking up the table.

Turn the head towards a framed print, a shelf or a favourite chair and the lamp becomes a small spotlight for that one thing. It is a simple way to draw attention to artwork or objects in the evening, when overhead lighting tends to flatten a room. Point it back at the wall for a softer wash when you want less.

Each lamp is sold individually. For one on each side of the bed, add two to your basket.
No. It is a task and accent light, designed for reading or highlighting one area. Use it alongside a ceiling light or other lamps for general lighting.
Black suits modern, minimal and industrial rooms and sits quietly against most wall colours. Gold adds a warmer note and pairs well with brass handles, frames and bedside details.
As a general guide, place it so the lamp head sits a little above shoulder height when you are sitting up in bed, slightly to one side. This puts light on the page without shining in your eyes.
It is best to let the lamp cool first, as the head can become warm in use. Hold the head gently and avoid forcing it beyond its natural range of movement.
We recommend fitting by a qualified electrician. Make sure the power is switched off at the mains before any work begins.
