Because the shade is compact, a small E27 bulb, such as a mini globe or short LED bulb, sits neatly inside it. Before buying, check the bulb’s length so it doesn’t hang below the rim of the glass.
For soft, everyday light over a table or desk, around 470–600 lumens works well. If you need clearer light for food prep or work, choose a bulb nearer 800 lumens.
A warm white bulb (2700–3000K) brings out the richness of the tinted shades. With white glass, a neutral white bulb gives a crisper, brighter light that’s useful for tasks.
