Fills the space without closing it in

Woven by hand, never quite the same twice
Each panel is woven individually, so the pattern and tone of the cane vary slightly from one light to the next. Lit, the panels glow warmly while light also falls freely through the gaps between them. Unlit, the natural colour and dark outline of each panel give it the presence of a hanging sculpture.

Compare the diameter with the table or area it will hang over. The 80 cm size suits smaller dining tables and bedrooms, while 100 cm and 120 cm need a larger room with clear space around the shade.
The panels are handwoven from real rattan in an open lattice pattern. As rattan is a natural material, slight differences in tone and weave are normal and part of its character.
The open weave lets light through in all directions, so it gives general room lighting as well as a decorative pattern on nearby surfaces. The brightness and warmth depend on the bulb you choose.
It is designed for dry indoor rooms such as living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms. Rattan does not cope well with steam or damp, so avoid bathrooms and outdoor areas.
It is a ceiling-mounted fitting that connects to the mains. We recommend a qualified electrician, and because the shade is wide, a second pair of hands helps during fitting.
Switch the light off, let the bulb cool, then dust the weave with a soft dry brush or cloth. Do not wet the rattan or use cleaning sprays.
