It’s designed for after dark. In daylight the patterns are barely visible, so it’s best switched on from dusk. Winter’s early evenings give you plenty of viewing time.

Move the projector further back and the patterns spread wider. They’ll appear slightly softer as they grow. For a two-storey house, start towards the back of the recommended range and adjust from there.
