In daylight it's just a smooth white sphere on a slim round base, quiet against any wall. Switch it on and the whole globe lights up evenly from the inside, with no bright hotspot and no visible bulb. The glow spreads onto the wall around it, so the light feels softer and the room feels warmer.

FAQ
For a small hallway or beside the bed, 12cm or 15cm is usually enough. If you have a large, empty wall or a high ceiling, 18cm or 20cm makes more of a statement. If in doubt, hold a plate of similar size against the wall to see how it looks.
Beside a bed or a mirror, most people go for two, one each side, so it looks balanced. In a long hallway, space them evenly at about eye height. One on its own works well as a single accent light by a door.
A soft, even glow. The whole glass globe lights up rather than one bright spot, so it's gentle on the eyes. It's best for mood and ambient light, not bright task lighting like reading.
We recommend it for dry indoor rooms such as bedrooms, hallways, living rooms and entryways. For bathrooms, you need a light with a certified IP rating, so please contact us before ordering for a bathroom.
Switch it off and let it cool, then wipe the globe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid sprays or chemical cleaners on the glass.
